The following is an example of a definition list

My favorite pastime is golf, here are some of the terminology definitions;

Par
- hole out in the specified number of strokes
Birdie
- holed out in one under the specified number of strokes
Eagle
- holed out in 2 under the specified number of strokes
Bogey (not Humphrey!!!)
- holed out in one more than the specified number of strokes
