The following is an example of a definition list

My favorite pastime is golf, here are some of the terminology definitions;

Par

- hole out in the specified number of strokes

Birdie

- holed out in one under the specified number of strokes

Eagle

- holed out in 2 under the specified number of strokes

Bogey (not Humphrey!!!)

- holed out in one more than the specified number of strokes

The next list is an example of a nested list (a list within a list), all use the unordered list tags (UL) and (li)

• Driver
• Loft: 10 degree, or
• Loft: 10.5 degree
• Fairway woods
• 3 wood
• 5 wood
• Hybrid (a smaller version of a fairway wood with a higher loft)
• Irons
• usually numbers 4 through 9
• Wedges
• Pitching wedge
• Gap Wedge
• Sand Wedge
• Putter
