THIS IS ANOTHER PAGE SHOWING LISTS

Now, I'm going to do Ordered Lists . This type of list does sequentially number the items in it. They are listed, one after the other, with the number or letter increasing by 1, for each item, with regular numerals being the default setting. My first example will show this. The example also shows how items can nest within a list - you just have to be really careful to get your opening and closing nested tags in the right order!

Finally, I will use Dictionary Lists: < DL >. Each item in the list starts with a Dictionary Term (DT) tag that must be opened and closed, followed by the Dictionary Definition Tag (DD) which is also opened and closed.

A quick example of each follows below, with the last example showing both an Ordered and an Unordered List nested within an Ordered List

Dictionary, or Definition Lists

Some Scuba Terms

Mask
A diving mask is an item of diving equipment that allows scuba divers, free-divers, and snorkelers to see clearly underwater.
Regulator
A scuba diving regulator is the piece of equipment that enables a diver to breathe from a scuba tank. A regulator is so named because it regulates the pressure of the air a diver breathes.
BCD
BCD is an abbreviation for Buoyancy Control Device or Buoyancy Compensating Device. This is a fancy name for the inflating jacket that a diver wears. The BCD is used to keep the diver neutrally buoyant (so that he does not sink or float up) as he is diving.
Nitrox
Nitrox refers to any gas mixture composed (excluding trace gases) of nitrogen and oxygen; this includes normal air which is approximately 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other gases, primarily argon. However, in scuba diving, nitrox is normally differentiated and handled differently from air.
Open Water
A dive within the recreational dive limits during which a diver spends the majority of his time deeper than 15 feet. In addition, the diver must use at least 50 cubic feet of gas or stay underwater for at least 20 minutes.
