1. On the front of the index card, at the top, print your name, last name first.
   • Which side is "front"?
   • Which edge is "top"?
   • Above or below the RED line?
   • Comma after last name? No comma? Does it matter?
2. Underneath, write your major and the number of credits you have earned (at SCCC or elsewhere).
   • Underneath what? (Underneath the card?)
   • Which definition of "major"?
     My dictionary gives several definitions for "major", including:
     • Of greater importance.
     • Of larger size.
     • Army officer.
     • A person of full legal age.
     • Musical key, mode, or interval.
     • College suject or discipline.
     • Sports usage (e.g. major league).
     • Medical usage.
     • Hearts or Spades - suits in bridge.
3. If you have a job that uses computers, put it at the bottom.
   • Bottom of what?
   • How do you "put" a job on a card?
   • What to do if no such job? (Does "none" indicate a job?)
4. In the lower left corner, add "CM35" and today's date.
   • Corner of what?
   • Did you leave enuf room?
   • How can you add a date to CM41?
   • Does date go on same line?
   • Does day go before month?
5. On the back, state your reasons for taking this course.
   • On whose back?
   • Does "state" mean the same as write?
