     Throughout this semester I've gained a great deal of relevant career experience. I may not have gotten an internship; however, I have learned plenty about the process and difficulties in landing a career. 
     I had started the class expecting to have been setup with an internship by the college. When I learned I had to find and apply for one on my own, I quickly cleaned up my resume and began sending it to as many places as I could. I received plenty of response e-mails in the following weeks; however, many were automated rejection e-mails. The few positive responses I received led to multiple phone interviews where I was told that my availability was not sufficient for them to hire me.
     I have since reached back out to many of the employers about potential openings as now that the semester has ended my availability has opened up greatly.
